Executive Management Team
Our committed and consistent executive management team is experienced with significant payments and financial processing knowledge, and collectively, with all of our associates, become an extension of your team.
CLAY WILKES, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Wilkes is the founder of Galileo and also the founder and former CEO of I-Link, Inc. He has extensive business, banking, and corporate finance experience and a strong technical background. In his role as CEO of I-Link, Inc., Mr. Wilkes authored the voice over IP patent. He previously served as a consultant to IBM Corporation and managed development groups at Novell. He is the Managing Partner and founder of Foundation Capital LLC, a private equity fund.
TODD BROCKMAN, PRESIDENT
Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Brockman was the Global Head of Prepaid Products at Visa Inc. During his tenure at Visa he worked closely with Visa’s member financial institutions, merchants and partners. Mr. Brockman was responsible for the strategy, development, and management of all aspects of Visa’s prepaid product platform. He initially joined Visa in 1995, serving in a number of roles, including vice president of marketing business affairs and vice president of business development. Prior to rejoining Visa in 2001, he served as the acting vice president of marketing for Webvan.com, the online grocery store that explored the delivery of goods directly to consumers. Brockman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management.
BRYAN BROOKS, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Brooks is a certified public accountant. Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Brooks worked as an audit manager for the public accounting firm KPMG, LLP, where he served both public and private companies operating in a variety of industries. Mr. Brooks earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah.
SCOTT JOHNSON, VICE PRESIDENT ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & IMPLEMENTATIONS
Mr. Johnson has over 14 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Johnson was responsible for the successful launch of prepaid products at GE Consumer Finance. Previously, Mr. Johnson served as a Senior Product Manager at a wholly owned subsidiary of Sybase, a leading enterprise class internet software banking provider in addition to working at American Express as a Product Marketing Manager. Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Utah.
CHRIS TRUJILLO, GENERAL COUNSEL
Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Trujillo worked with the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney LLP, an international law firm, where he was outside counsel to Galileo. He focused his practice on e-commerce, emerging companies, mergers and acquisition and securities laws. Mr. Trujillo received his Juris Doctorate degree from Brigham Young University and his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Professional Accountancy (tax emphasis) degrees from Weber State University.
MATT BENTLEY, VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT
Mr. Bentley has extensive hands on experience designing, managing, and developing complex software applications. He has also successfully designed, implemented; and managed, scalable, redundant, and highly available data centers for business critical operations. With over 18 years of experience, Mr. Bentley has worked in many industries including; financial, retail, health care, manufacturing, government, telecommunications and software. Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Bentley was responsible for technical operations at Talk2 Technology, Inc., where he successfully planned, implemented and managed procedures for deploying, maintaining and monitoring Talk2’s advanced telephony services.
RICK NEWTON, VICE PRESIDENT OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Mr. Newton has over 20 years experience in design, deployment, operations, and management. Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Newton served as Vice President of Development and Engineering for Talk2 Technology, Inc., and was responsible for creating key pieces in their scalable voice portal infrastructure.
TOM CLAY, VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Mr. Clay has over 20 years of professional experience. He brings a wide variety of knowledge to the team in the areas of electronic payment processing, project management, and operational control. Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Clay held several management positions at American Stores Company, Talk2 Technology, Inc., and Environmax, Inc. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor degree in Finance.
KRIS TANNER, VICE PRESIDENT CORPORATE PLANNING & HR
Ms. Tanner has over 16 years experience in human resource administration and management. Prior to joining Galileo, Ms. Tanner worked as Human Resources Manager for GE Money, Corporate Payment Services, specializing in employee relations, corporate ombuds, and capacity & succession planning. Ms. Tanner has led recruiting efforts for multiple GE businesses as well as client managed all aspects of the operations (call center), technology, risk, business development, and account management functions.
JOEL HUNTINGTON, CORPORATE QUALITY LEADER
Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Huntington held various leadership roles during 10 years at GE, including large enterprise transformation programs in the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Huntington recently returned from several years in Western Europe, where he led an initiative to standardize critical processes and systems across multiple GE Capital business units. Mr. Huntington holds a Master of Science degree from the George Washington University School of Business.
DIANE SMITH, VICE PRESIDENT OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
As Vice President of Customer Experience, Ms. Smith is responsible for oversight of customer care and risk management. She brings over 20 years of leadership experience in call center operations, revenue integrity and customer relations. Ms. Smith has held previous key positions with Morris Air, Southwest Airlines, and JetBlue Airways.
